Instagram ban lifted!
Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that the access ban on Instagram would be lifted at 9:30 PM, and the platform is now accessible.

The access ban on Instagram, which was imposed on August 2nd, has been lifted.
Following Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu's announcement that the ban would be lifted at 9:30 PM, users were able to access Instagram once again. The eight-day Instagram access ban has come to an end.
What Happened?
As citizens eagerly awaited the lifting of the access ban, Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu made a significant announcement on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
In his statement on X, Uraloğlu said, "As a result of our negotiations with Instagram officials, and their commitment to addressing our demands within the framework of catalog crimes and to collaborate on censorship issues affecting users, we will lift the access ban at 9:30 PM."
Minister Uraloğlu's statement continued:
"As the Republic of Turkiye, we imposed an access ban on the social media platform Instagram on August 2nd because they failed to comply with our demands related to catalog crimes.
From the beginning, we have insisted that social media platforms respect the laws of the Republic of Turkiye."
