Instagram enigma... New statement from Minister Uraloğlu
Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced significant progress in meetings with Instagram officials. Minister Uraloğlu stated, "I believe they will consider our sensitivities soon."

The access ban imposed by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority on the social media platform Instagram remains in effect.
Minister Uraloğlu made a statement regarding the access ban.
"YOU MUST COMPLY WITH THESE"
Uraloğlu said:
"Why did we halt Instagram's access? They did not take the steps we requested concerning catalog crimes. We held two meetings. We conveyed our concerns to the other party. Here, we must not overlook this: imagine a company with its own rules, but our country's laws also exist. They respond to some of our requests with 'Our company's rules.' Well, you operate in this country. Doesn't this country have laws? Of course, it does. You must comply with them.
Even condolence posts about Ismail Haniye are not tolerated. We have made significant progress. I believe they will soon take our sensitivities into account."
