Trabzonspor’s 2-0 victory away in UEFA Conference League
In the first leg of the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round, Trabzonspor secured a 2-0 victory against Ruzomberok away from home. Goals from Trezeguet and Cihan Çanak led the Bordeaux-Blues to a significant win.

Trabzonspor visited Ruzomberok for the first match of the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round. The Bordeaux-Blues emerged victorious with a 2-0 score at MFK Ruzomberok Stadium in Slovakia.
The goals for Trabzonspor were scored by Trezeguet in the 39th minute and Cihan Çanak in the 90+1 minute.
Returning to Trabzon with an Advantage
In the 39th minute, Edin Visca, after receiving a pass from Enis Bardhi, entered the penalty area from the right flank and found Trezeguet. The Egyptian star struck the ball into the net without hesitation. In the injury time, Cihan Çanak scored the second goal from a long distance.
With this 2-0 victory, the Bordeaux-Blues secured a significant advantage before the second leg.
Uğurcan Çakır Made the Difference
Trabzonspor faced challenging moments, especially in the first half. The Slovak team was effective in their attacks, but Uğurcan Çakır delivered an outstanding performance in goal, preventing any concessions. The national goalkeeper continued his crucial saves in the second half, particularly after the team took a 1-0 lead, playing a key role in the victory.
Trabzonspor will host Ruzomberok in the return leg on Thursday, August 1, at Papara Park.
