Bilecik stated, "Starting from next season, we have decided to withdraw from the Turkish Cup for two seasons. We will submit all necessary requests to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) right after Eid al-Fitr."
He also mentioned that Fenerbahce has requested to postpone the Super Cup match, originally scheduled for April 7, to a later date. Furthermore, the club has asked for a foreign referee to oversee the game.
Fenerbahce is planning to restructure its football operations in a European country, emphasizing football as the club's main focus.
The 2023 Turkish Super Cup, initially set for December 29 between Galatasaray, the Super Lig champions, and Fenerbahce, the 2022-23 Turkish Cup winners, is now scheduled for Sunday in Sanliurfa, southeastern Turkey.
