Fenerbahçe seals deal for Çağlar Söyüncü from A. Madrid
Fenerbahçe, a Turkish Super Lig team, has successfully acquired Turkish national footballer Çağlar Söyüncü from Atletico Madrid.

The yellow-dark blue team offered €5 million for Çağlar and, with the club's permission, began negotiations with the national player. Söyüncü expressed his desire to remain with Fenerbahçe to the club officials.
Wants to Stay at Fenerbahçe
Söyüncü also spoke with Atletico Madrid, noting that he joined on a free transfer and requested leniency regarding his transfer fee to continue his career at Fenerbahçe.
Atletico Madrid Relents
Initially firm at €12 million, Atletico Madrid ultimately agreed to transfer Söyüncü to Fenerbahçe for nearly €10 million, including bonuses. After passing his medical examination, the national player signed officially and joined the team.
Last season, during the second half, Söyüncü played 16 matches for Fenerbahçe, scoring two goals.
