Atletico Madrid's Turkish defender joins Fenerbahce on loan

Fenerbahce has secured Atletico Madrid's Turkish defender Caglar Soyuncu on a loan deal, the club announced on Monday. The Turkish international will play for the Yellow Canaries until the conclusion of the 2023-24 season, as stated in a Fenerbahce announcement.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Soyuncu said, "I am happy and excited to be here. I'm eager to join the team as soon as possible and contribute my best to support the team and my community. Our mutual goals are to win championships and cups."

Soyuncu, 27, achieved success with Leicester City, winning the 2021 English FA Cup, before his move to Atletico Madrid in 2023.
