US oil drilling rig count declines
The number of oil drilling rigs in the US decreased by 3 this week.
According to weekly data released by oilfield services company Baker Hughes, the number of oil drilling rigs in the country decreased by 3 to 485 in the week of June 15-21 compared to the previous week.
The number of oil drilling rigs in the US has decreased by 61 in the last year.
The barrel price of Brent oil, which closed Thursday at $ 85.71, closed Friday at $ 85.24.
The barrel price of West Texas (WTI) type crude oil closed Friday at 80.59 dollars. The barrel of WTI crude oil had completed Thursday at 82.17 dollars.
