Turkiye's tourism revenue up 9.3% to $23.7B in H1
Turkiye hosts 25.1M tourists during Jan-June period

Turkiye's tourism revenue and number of tourists visiting the country increased during the January-June period of 2024 on a yearly basis.
The country's tourism revenue rose by 9.3% to $23.66 billion in the first half, the Turkish Statistical Office (TurkStat) revealed on Wednesday.
The number of visitors went up by 13.2% to 25.1 million during the six-month period on a yearly basis.
Average expenditure per capita was at $942, down 3.4% over the same period, for each foreign visitor.
In the second quarter of this year, the tourism revenue of the country rose by 11.8% and the number of tourists soared by 15% to 16 million, official figures showed.
