14 hand grenades found: Beach closed
In Eğirdir, Isparta, seven hand grenades were discovered in Eğirdir Lake. This brings the total number of grenades found at the beach in the past month to 14.

The incident occurred yesterday at the Babasultan public beach in Eğirdir. According to reports, a citizen swimming in the lake spotted an explosive device near the shore and alerted the authorities.
Police teams were dispatched to the area following the tip-off. Upon investigation, they found seven hand grenades in the lake. The authorities took extensive security measures and closed the beach to the public.
Experts from the Istanbul Naval Forces Command's bomb disposal unit are expected to arrive to safely remove the grenades from the water.
Last month, seven hand grenades were also found in Eğirdir Lake, making a total of 14 grenades discovered in the area over the past month.
