What Happened?
Tensions between French police and English fans escalated before the Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Liverpool on May 25, 2022. The kickoff of the Champions League final on Saturday night was delayed by over 30 minutes due to fans arriving late. Security teams struggled under the pressure of managing crowds without tickets, leaving thousands of fans stranded in queues.
