The Gunners' triumph at the Emirates Stadium, secured by German striker Kai Havertz's goal in the 89th minute, vaulted them to first place. This development came as their closest competitors, Manchester City and Liverpool, ended their match in a 1-1 draw.
In Week 13's notable match, Newcastle showcased a stellar second-half performance against Chelsea. The game began with Alexander Isak giving Newcastle an early lead, only for Chelsea's Raheem Sterling to equalize. The first half concluded with a 1-1 draw at St. James' Park. Newcastle then stunned Chelsea with two quick goals from Jamaal Lascelles and Joelinton in the 60th and 61st minutes, respectively.
