NBA in-season tournament advances to quarterfinals
The NBA In-Season Tournament, also known as the NBA Cup, has completed its Group Play stage.
Teams advancing to the quarterfinals include the Indiana Pacers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Boston Celtics as Group A, B, and C winners, respectively, from the Eastern Conference, along with the Wild Card team, the New York Knicks. From the Western Conference, the Los Angeles Lakers, New Orleans Pelicans, and Sacramento Kings have emerged as Group A, B, and C winners, joined by the Wild Card Phoenix Suns.
The quarterfinal matchups are set for December 4 and 5. The Knicks will take on the Bucks, and the Suns will face the Lakers on December 5. Meanwhile, the Celtics will compete against the Pacers, and the Pelicans will go up against the Kings on December 4.
The semifinals are scheduled for December 7, leading up to the final on December 9. The champion of the NBA Cup will not only earn the prestigious title but also a prize of $500,000 for each winning player.
