Galatasaray shines with stars! 2-1 victory in friendly

Under the leadership of Okan Buruk, Galatasaray continued their preparations in Austria and faced Italian side Lecce, managed by Luca Gotti.

The match, held at Raiffeisen Arena, saw Galatasaray triumph 2-1, with goals coming from Hakim Ziyech in the 9th minute and Wilfried Zaha in the 40th minute. Lecce's goal was scored by Kialonda Gaspar in the 85th minute.

Mauro Icardi Makes First Appearance

Galatasaray's star player Mauro Icardi made his debut this season, taking the field against Lecce. Icardi entered the match in the 64th minute, replacing Mertens, and played alongside Batshuayi as a dual striker.

Galatasaray's next friendly match will be against Parma on Saturday, July 27, at 8:30 PM.
