Exchange Rates and Commodity Prices
The USD/TRY exchange rate stood at 29.3710 as of 18.05 a.m. local time (1505GMT), while the exchange rates for the Euro and the British Pound against the Turkish Lira were 32.4430 and 37.3910, respectively. In the commodities market, gold was trading at $2,076.65 per ounce, and the Brent oil price hovered around $80.95 per barrel.
