Turkish stock exchange up at midweek's open
BIST 100 index gains around 21 points at opening session

The Turkish benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 10,817.56 points, up by 0.19% or 20.99 points from the previous close.
On Tuesday, the BIST 100 index went down by 0.62% to 10,796.57 points with a daily transaction volume of 100 billion Turkish liras ($3.05 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira (USD/TRY) exchange rate was 32.9440 as of 10 a.m. (0700GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 35.6930, while the GBP/TRY rate was 42.1550.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,372.80, and the barrel price of Brent oil was around $83.70.
