Turkish stock exchange rises at Tuesday's opening
Turkey's benchmark stock index, the BIST 100, began Tuesday's trading at 8,810.69 points, marking a 0.39% increase, or a rise of 33.99 points, from the previous session's close.

On Monday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index reached a new record high, closing at 8,776.70 points — up by 1.28% with a trading volume of 106 billion Turkish lira ($3.46 billion).
As of 9:50 a.m. local time (0650 GMT), the exchange rate for the US dollar to Turkish lira was 30.5690, the euro to lira rate was 32.8975, and the British pound was trading at 38.3674 liras.
Brent crude was priced at approximately $78.09 per barrel at the time, and an ounce of gold was valued at $2,042.55.
