Turkish stock exchange flat at open
BIST 100 index gains around 3 points at opening session
Türkiye's benchmark stock index, BIST 100, opened Wednesday at 11,092.63 points, marking an increase of 0.03% or 3.1 points from the previous close.
On Tuesday, the BIST 100 index fell by 0.74% to a record closing level of 11,089.53 points, with a daily transaction volume of 110.8 billion Turkish liras ($3.38 billion).
As of 10.25 a.m. (0725GMT), the US dollar/Turkish lira (USD/TRY) exchange rate was 32.8715. The EUR/TRY rate stood at 35.6964, while the GBP/TRY rate was 42.3965.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,415.99, and the price of Brent crude oil was around $80.50 per barrel.
