Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the delivery of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
In a social media post, Zelensky stated, "The F-16s are in Ukraine. We made it happen. I am proud of our friends who have specialized in these aircraft and are using them for our country. I want to thank our team for this achievement. We are grateful to all our partners who truly helped with the F-16s, especially the countries that first accepted our request: Denmark, the Netherlands, and the USA."
The footage shared by Zelensky features him attending a ceremony in front of the F-16s, as well as moments of the jets taking off and in flight.
Details on which country provided how many F-16 aircraft to Ukraine were not disclosed.
