Trump expected to meet with Senate Republicans on Wednesday
US President-elect Donald Trump is expected to meet with Senate Republicans on Wednesday.
The time and location for the meeting is yet to be determined, reports said Monday, citing sources familiar with the plan.
Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso told reporters earlier Monday that Senate Republicans would soon be meeting with Trump and "talk about what he’d like to have done."
The newly-elected 119th US Congress began Friday, with Republicans in full control of both chambers for the first time since 2019.
