Saudi crown prince, Ukrainian president discuss efforts to resolve Russia-Ukraine war
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed efforts to resolve the Russia-Ukraine war in a phone call Wednesday, according to the official Saudi Press Agency.
The call addressed "updates on the Ukrainian-Russian crisis and the efforts being made to address it," it said.
The two leaders also discussed relations between their two countries, several mutual concerns and regional and international developments.
Zelenskyy visited the Saudi capital Riyadh for the first time in May 2023 and again in February 2024.
Riyadh has played mediating roles multiple times between Russia and Ukraine, both to resolve the conflict and facilitate prisoner exchanges.
