Speaking at a press briefing in Moscow, Peskov confirmed that envoy Kirill Dmitriev provided a detailed report to President Vladimir Putin regarding his recent trip to Miami for negotiations with US representatives.

"Dmitriev had the opportunity to brief the president in detail on the results of his trip," Peskov said.

He said Russia will clarify its stance and maintain dialogue through existing channels.

"Based on the information received by the head of state, we intend to formulate our further stance and continue our contacts through the existing channels that are currently functional," he explained.

Asked about reports of four drafts brought from the US to Russia, Peskov declined to comment, emphasizing that the Kremlin considers it inappropriate to discuss such details publicly.

"We still believe, including at this stage, that it is inappropriate to communicate through the media. Therefore, we will not disclose what Dmitriev brought. Nor will we speak about it through the media," he said.

Peskov also declined to comment on the peace plan presented earlier in the day by Zelenskyy, which includes provisions such as security guarantees modeled on NATO's collective defense clause and EU accession, describing it as not suitable for public discussion.

He reiterated that the US is fully aware of Moscow's core demands.

"All the main parameters of the Russian side's position are well known to our American colleagues," he said.

Negotiations on the Ukrainian settlement were held in Miami over the weekend, with the US side represented by envoy Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner, son-in-law of President Donald Trump.

Turning to Poland's expressed intention to join the G20 economic group, Peskov remarked that Polish authorities "tend to distort meanings and turn their participation in any unions into a political issue."

He added: "We hope that Poland remembers that the G20 is an economic union with an absolute priority for discussing economic issues."

Regarding the possibility of a phone call between the Russian and French presidents, Peskov said he would provide information if such a conversation is agreed upon.

A 28-point plan to end the Ukraine war was first put forward by Trump. Since then, work has been underway to refine the plan and make it acceptable to all stakeholders.
