Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a written statement on his account on the social media platform X, “O Benny (Gantz), Israel is fighting an existential war on many fronts. Now is not the time to abandon this situation, but to join forces."

Pointing out that his door is open to Zionist parties, Netanyahu said, “My door will be open to any Zionist party that is ready to achieve victory over our enemies and ensure the security of our citizens.”

In the evening, Gantz, a member of the Israeli War Cabinet, announced his resignation from the emergency government headed by Netanyahu in the 8th month of Israel's genocidal war against the Gaza Strip.

Shortly after Gantz, it was stated that Gadi Eisenkot, a member of the Israeli War Cabinet and former Chief of Staff, also resigned from the emergency government headed by Netanyahu.
