Military plane crashes in western Iran
An Iranian military plane crashed in western Iran on Wednesday, local media said.

Two pilots survived the crash near the city of Kabudarahang in Hamadan province, but sustained minor injuries and were transferred to a hospital, the semi-official Mehr news agency reported.
The cause of the crash remains unclear.
Decades of Western sanctions have made it hard for Iran to obtain spare parts and maintain its aging aircraft.
