Both sides set sights on India: Ukraine and Russia to seperately meet with Indian PM
Ukrainian - Russian war continues as both side attempt to gather support for the future peace talks. Ukrainian Foreign Minister is to meet with his Indian counterpart, as Putin holds talks with Modi.

Ukraine’s foreign minister, Dmytro Kuleba, will visit India next week as Kyiv looks to build support for its peace plan, two Indian officials aware of the matter told the press on the condition of anonymity.
One of the officials said Kuleba’s visit, the first by a top Ukrainian leader since Russia’s 2022 invasion, comes at the invitation of his Indian counterpart, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
One of the officials said a formal announcement of the visit was expected next week.

Meanwhile, earlier today, Russian
President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi
discussed Ukraine during a phone call, the Kremlin announced.
Modi is one of few world leaders who has congratulated Putin on his re-election after Western governments slammed the election as not being “free and fair”.
New Delhi, which has traditionally had close economic and defence ties with Moscow, has so far refused to condemn Russia for invading Ukraine and has instead increased its purchases of Russian oil to record levels.
