In a remarkable incident at Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris, SunExpress's flight XQ917 to İzmir departed without dozens of passengers.
The flight, originally scheduled to take off at 17:00 local time, was delayed until 20:00. Passengers, waiting at the airport, reported no information on the check-in screens despite the arrival of the scheduled departure time.
When the time came, passengers, using a radar tracking app, were shocked to discover the SunExpress flight had already departed without them. Efforts to find a representative for information were fruitless.
The SunExpress flight successfully landed in İzmir. Meanwhile, the airline arranged accommodations for the stranded passengers and rebooked them on the next available flight.
