On the 85th anniversary of the passing of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, Anitkabir experienced a significant influx of citizens. Following a ceremony led by state officials, including President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Anitkabir opened its doors to visitors on November 10.
After the opening ceremony, individuals from various corners of Turkey flocked to Ataturk's mausoleum, engaging in prayers and paying their tributes. The changing of the guard ceremony attracted keen interest from the visitors, as did the resonation of Ataturk's 10th Year Speech through the loudspeakers at Anitkabir.
