Russia: "Turkish delegation to seek gas hub details"
Alexander Novak announced that a Turkish delegation will visit Russia to gather information about the proposed gas hub in Turkey.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announced that a Turkish delegation will visit Russia to gather information about the proposed gas hub in Turkey. This development follows Russian President Vladimir Putin's suggestion last October to use Turkey as a key transit point for Russian gas to Europe, a proposal positively received by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Novak, speaking on Russian television, expressed hope for the project's imminent realization and confirmed ongoing negotiations on a roadmap, with the Turkish team planning a visit to St. Petersburg to learn about Russia's progress.
Novak recently indicated the possibility of reaching an agreement this year. Putin emphasized Russia's readiness to supply energy to Europe, stating, "We can establish a major natural gas center in Turkey for Europe. No intervention in oil markets or reserve usage can solve the energy issue. The ball is in their court."
