Reuters Digital News Report published: Cumhuriyet is Turkey's most trusted newspaper
Cumhuriyet Newspaper was once again named the most trusted newspaper in Turkey in the Digital News Report 2024 published by the Reuters Institute. The report evaluated the positions of media brands in Turkey and around the world by detailing digital and traditional media usage habits.

As every year, the Reuters Institute published the Digital News Report 2024, which provides comprehensive data on the world of digital media.
The report analyzed media consumption habits and reliability levels through surveys conducted in 47 countries around the world. Turkey was among these countries and the report included important data on media consumption habits.
According to the report, Cumhuriyet was once again named the most reliable newspaper in Turkey in 2024. Cumhuriyet had achieved the same title in 2023.
CONTENTS OF THE REPORT
The Digital News Report 2024 examined in detail the usage rates of digital and traditional media platforms, public trust in news sources and media consumption habits.
The report examined the weekly reach of television, radio and print publications, as well as online news sites. It also comprehensively assessed the degree of trust in news brands.
CUMHURİYET NEWSPAPER IS THE MOST TRUSTED NEWSPAPER
One of the most striking findings of the Digital News Report 2024 is that Cumhuriyet stands out as the most trusted newspaper in Turkey.
54% of the respondents stated that they trust Cumhuriyet Newspaper, while 22% remained neutral and 25% did not trust it.
The report assessed media brands not only in Turkey but also around the world. This data provided a comparative analysis of the degree of trust in media brands and media consumption habits in different countries.
NOW TV WAS THE MOST TRUSTED NEWS BRAND
On the other hand, data on the most trusted broadcasting organizations among the public were also shared in the table named public opinion on brand trust.
Accordingly, NOW TV became the most trusted news brand with 60 percent of the trust votes.
The Digital News Report 2024 analyzed media consumption habits and trust in news sources around the world in detail, revealing how the media has evolved in the digital age.
Cumhuriyet's ranking as the most trusted news source in Turkey once again proved the newspaper's commitment to the principles of reliable journalism and the strong bond it has established with its readers.
