870 irregular migrants caught in Edirne last month

Edirne Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams continue their efforts to prevent irregular migration.

As a result of their operations, 870 irregular migrants were caught over the past month. After processing, the migrants were sent to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management.

During these operations, 16 suspects were detained on charges of human trafficking, and 13 vehicles were confiscated.
