Zeynep Yetgil claims Bronze at European Wrestling Championship
In the European Wrestling Championship held in Romania, national wrestler Zeynep Yetgil achieved third place, winning a bronze medal in the women's 53 kg category.
The championship in Bucharest saw Yetgil, along with Elvira Kamaloğlu in the 57 kg and Kadriye Aksoy in the 65 kg categories, succeed in their repechage matches, securing their spots in the bronze medal bouts.
Yetgil triumphed over Hungary's Sztalvira Orsus with a 3-1 victory in the 53 kg division, earning her the bronze medal and the title of Europe's third best.
In the 57 kg category, Elvira Kamaloğlu faced a defeat by Solomiia Vynnyk of Ukraine with a score of 10-6 in the bronze medal match.
Kadriye Aksoy, competing for bronze in the 65 kg category, was bested 10-4 by Moldova's Irina Ringaci.
