USA Men's Basketball Team defeats France to claim Olympic gold
The final match was held at Bercy Arena in Paris, France, in front of a packed crowd.

The USA led 20-15 at the end of the first quarter and extended their lead to 49-41 by halftime.
Despite playing against the host nation, the USA maintained their advantage, ending the third quarter with a 72-66 lead and ultimately winning the game 98-87. This victory marks their fifth consecutive gold medal (2008, 2012, 2016, 2020, and 2024).
Stephen Curry was the top scorer for the USA with 24 points, while France’s Victor Wembanyama led all scorers with 26 points.
Kevin Durant, who claimed his fourth gold medal, became the most decorated male basketball player in Olympic history.
