Under-23 Wheelchair Basketball National Team won the bronze medal by defeating Italy 67-56 in the third place match of the IWBF (International Wheelchair Basketball Federation) European Championship.

The Turkish team faced Italy in the third place match of the tournament held in Madrid, the capital of Spain.
Turkey defeated Italy 67-56 and finished the championship third and won the bronze medal.
In the final of the IWBF European Championship, Great Britain won the championship with a 60-40 victory over Germany.
