Ukraine's surprise comeback to beat Slovakia 2-1

In the Group E encounter, Sergiy Rebrov's Ukraine faced Francesco Calzona's Slovakia and emerged victorious with a 2-1 scoreline.

Playing at Düsseldorf Arena, Ukraine ended the first half trailing 1-0 but managed to turn the game around in the second half to secure the win.

Ukraine's goals came from Mykola Shaparenko in the 54th minute and Roman Yaremchuk in the 80th minute, while Slovakia's only goal was scored by Ivan Schranz in the 17th minute.

With this result, Ukraine raised their points total to 3, while Slovakia remained at 3 points. In the next group match, Ukraine will face strong opponent Belgium, while Slovakia will take on Romania.
