Turkish gymnasts claim 8 medals at Balkan Artistic Gymnastics Championship
Golds secured by Sukruoglu and Akan as Turkish athletes shine in Sofia.

Turkish national gymnasts secured eight medals at the Balkan Artistic Gymnastics Championship held in Sofia, Bulgaria, from Sept. 17-22.
Competing in the women's category were Armin Huyuktepe, Irem Karabalıi, Gulbahar Ece Gerdan, Mania Mohammadi, Naz Kandemir, and Yasam Sugra Akan. Representing the men were Cagri Yilmaz, Deniz Sukruoglu, Ege Ertoz, Huseyin Emir Cunedioglu, Guney Kapucu, Melih Dumlu, and Onurhan Demir, the Turkish Gymnastics Federation announced.
Deniz Sukruoglu claimed a gold medal in the rings apparatus, while Yasam Sugra Akan took home gold in the vaulting table.
Silver medals were won by Melih Dumlu in the pull-up apparatus, Huseyin Emir Cunedioglu in the junior men's general classification, and Guney Kapucu in the same category.
Onurhan Demir also earned a bronze medal in the junior men's general classification.
In the team competition, the Turkish Artistic Gymnastics Men's National Team (Junior-Star-Youth) secured bronze with a total of 219.50 points.
