'Sultans of the Net' reach Olympic volleyball semi finals!
The Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team defeated China 3-2 in the quarter-finals of Paris 2024 and advanced to the semi-finals.

The match took place at the South Paris Arena, where the Sultans of the Net emerged victorious after a tense 3-2 battle against China.
Aiming for their first-ever Olympic medal, the Turkish team will face the winner of the Italy-Serbia match in the semi-finals on Thursday, August 8.
MELISSA VARGAS' STUNNING PERFORMANCE
The Turkish team won with set scores of 25-23, 21-25, 24-26, 25-21, and 12-15. Melissa Vargas shone brightly, scoring 41 points and leading her team to their first-ever Olympic semi-final appearance.
Youth and Sports Minister Osman Aşkın Bak and TVF President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ were also in attendance.
