New role for Arda Güler from Vincenzo Montella!

As the Turkish National Team prepares for their upcoming match against Austria in the Round of 16 of the 2024 European Football Championship (EURO 2024), Coach Vincenzo Montella is making strategic adjustments.

According to Milliyet, Montella is starting to finalize the lineup for the Austria match in the absence of Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Samet Akaydin, who are both suspended due to yellow cards.

New Role for Arda Güler

Montella plans to move Arda Güler to a central position and deploy either İrfan Can Kahveci or Kerem Aktürkoğlu on the right wing.

Abdülkerim Bardakcı, whose suspension has ended, will replace Samet in the starting 11.

Turkey and Austria will compete for a quarter-final spot on Tuesday, July 2, at 22:00 local time.
