Juventus targets Turkish youngster

Juventus, already home to Kenan Yıldız, is said to be keen on adding another Turkish talent to their squad.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Italian club has initiated talks for Berkay Yılmaz, who has been impressive with Freiburg.

Freiburg, however, is reluctant to sell Berkay Yılmaz and is looking to offer him an improved contract extension, as his current deal runs until the summer of 2025.

Berkay Yılmaz has been a part of the Turkish National Team setup since the U17 level and has played 12 matches for the U19 team.

While he has yet to debut for Freiburg's senior team, Berkay has made 13 appearances in the 3. Bundesliga for Freiburg B, scoring 1 goal and providing 4 assists.
