Inter Miami of Major League Soccer (MLS) has released a statement regarding the injury of Argentine star Lionel Messi, sustained during the Copa America final.

After Argentina defeated Colombia 1-0 to win the Copa America, bad news followed for Messi. Inter Miami confirmed that Messi sustained an injury to the ligaments in his right ankle during the match.
