Galatasaray Outbids Fenerbahçe for Batshuayi
Galatasaray has made a surprising move in the transfer market for a forward. The club, also known as the "Yellow-Reds," has made significant progress in signing Fenerbahçe’s striker Michy Batshuayi.
The Belgian player, whose contract had expired, was not keen on Fenerbahçe's offer of a three-year contract worth €3 million annually and a €1 million signing bonus.
Galatasaray stepped in with a more attractive proposal: a three-year contract with a guaranteed annual salary of €3 million and a €3 million signing bonus. Batshuayi is reportedly considering Galatasaray’s offer favorably but has asked for time to discuss it with his family.
The experienced forward, who is satisfied with his life in Istanbul, is likely to transfer to Galatasaray unless Fenerbahçe increases its offer.
