Furkan Yaman wins silver at European Fencing championships
National athlete Furkan Yaman clinched a silver medal in the cadet men's épée category at the European Fencing Championships held in Italy.

Competing in the Cadet and Junior European Fencing Championships in Naples, Yaman secured the silver after facing Italian fencer Leonardo Reale in the quest for gold in the cadet men's épée category.
In a closely contested final, Yaman narrowly lost to Reale with a score of 15-14, according to the Turkish Fencing Federation.
Other Turkish athletes in the same category saw Arda Tanerler finishing 35th and Ateş Efe Toker in 41st place.
In the cadet women's épée, Nilahsen Erten ranked 10th, followed by Yasemin Toktaş in 26th, Zülal Can in 51st, and Elif Yalçın in 87th. In the cadet men's foil, Sarp Öztürk placed 23rd, Kıvanç Kırtay 28th, Arda Barış Demircan 52nd, and Ahmed Turgut Anbarlılar 63rd.
