EURO 2024: Draw pots confirmed, Turkey in pot 2
The draw pots for the 2024 European Football Championship have been confirmed. Turkey, having finished top of its group, will be in the second pot for the draw, set to take place in Hamburg, Germany, on Saturday, December 2.

Turkey completed its 2024 European Football Championship (EURO 2024) qualifying campaign atop Group D, marking the first time in its history that it will head to a major tournament as a group leader.
The draw, featuring Turkey in the second pot, will occur in Hamburg, Germany, on Saturday, December 2.
The teams are distributed in the following pots:
Pot 1: Germany, Portugal, France, Spain, England, Belgium
Pot 2: Turkey, Hungary, Denmark, Albania, Romania, Austria
Pot 3: Netherlands, Scotland, Slovenia, Croatia, Slovakia, Czech Republic
Pot 4: Italy, Serbia, Switzerland, plus 3 teams from the play-offs
Three Teams to Advance from Play-Offs
The play-off stage will include Bosnia and Herzegovina, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Greece, Iceland, Israel, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Poland, Ukraine, and Wales. Three of these teams will secure their final spots in March.
In the play-offs, Poland and Wales, from the Nations League, have qualified for Path A. Estonia, the highest-ranked team in League D, was added to expand this path to four teams.
Bosnia and Herzegovina and Israel, having finished top of their UEFA Nations League groups, will compete in Path B of the play-offs.
One of the countries from Nations League Group B (Finland, Iceland, Ukraine) will complete Path A in the draw tomorrow, while the remaining two will be placed in League B.
