Gareth Southgate's England started strong, launching effective attacks within the first 15 minutes. Following the goal, Denmark took control of the ball and initiated their own attacks. In the 34th minute, Denmark equalized with a stunning goal. Receiving a pass from Victor Kristansen, Morten Hjulmand, from 30 meters out, unleashed a powerful and precise shot into the left corner, beating the keeper and making it 1-1.
Despite Denmark increasing their pressure after the goal, no further goals were scored in the first half, and the teams went into the break tied 1-1.
England made no substitutions at halftime, and Denmark continued to dominate possession in the second half.
Both teams struggled to create dangerous chances after the break, and the match ended without any additional goals.
