Eder Militao extends contract with Real Madrid through 2028
Real Madrid's Brazilian defender Eder Militao has renewed his contract with the club, extending his stay until June 30, 2028, the team announced Tuesday.
The 26-year-old, who joined Real Madrid from Portugal's Porto in 2019, has become a key player for the club. Despite suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee last August, Militao has been instrumental in the team's success.
During his tenure at Real Madrid, Militao has helped the team secure nine trophies, including the UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and two Spanish La Liga titles.
Militao has scored 11 goals in 143 appearances for Real Madrid and earned 30 international caps for Brazil. He was part of the Brazilian squad that won the Copa America in 2019.
