Büşra Çan wins Bronze in Bulgaria
National athlete Büşra Çan claimed a bronze medal at the European Weightlifting Championships in Bulgaria by lifting 127 kilograms in the clean and jerk.

At the European Weightlifting Championships held in Bulgaria, Büşra Çan earned the bronze in the women's 87kg category with her 127kg lift.
On the eighth night of the championship in Sofia, Büşra Çan competed in the 87kg category.
Büşra finished eighth in the snatch with a 100kg lift and won bronze in the clean and jerk with a 127kg lift, ranking fifth overall with a total of 227kg.
In the snatch, Norway's Amena Eila Solfrid Koanda took first with a 120kg lift, Denmark's Sofie Vejsgaard Anne Jensen was second with 107kg, and Armenia's Hripsime Khurshudyan third with 105kg.
NATIONAL ATHLETES COLLECT 22 MEDALS
Amena Eila Solfrid Koanda also led the clean and jerk with 160kg, winning three gold medals with a total of 280kg.
Anastasiia Manievska of Ukraine claimed two silver medals with a 128kg lift in the clean and jerk and a total of 230kg.
Hripsime Khurshudyan secured third place overall with 227kg.
Thus far, national athletes have garnered 5 gold, 8 silver, and 9 bronze medals, totaling 22 at the championship.
On Tuesday, national athletes Tuana Süren and Fatmagül Çevik will compete for medals in the women's +87kg category.
