Barcelona secures 21st EuroLeague victory over Bayern Munich
Barcelona clinched an 87-79 victory against Bayern Munich in Round 32 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, securing their 21st win of the season at BMW Park on Thursday. Despite the strong efforts from Bayern Munich's Nick Weiler-Babb and Serge Ibaka, who each scored 17 points, the Bavarians couldn't bridge the gap, ultimately falling to the visitors.

Jabari Parker led Barcelona with 15 points, followed by Nicolas Laprovittola with 14, and Jan Vesely, who added 12 points. "We maintained control, especially in the fourth quarter. Our passing and ability to find open shots were key," commented Barcelona coach Roger Grimau on the team's performance.
Ibaka, besides his scoring, contributed 12 rebounds, yet it wasn't enough to secure a win. Bayern Munich's coach, Pablo Laso, acknowledged his team's improved play in the second half but lamented missed opportunities to narrow the scoreline. "We faced a formidable team," he remarked, reflecting on the challenge posed by Barcelona.
Currently, Barcelona holds third place in the league standings with a record of 21 wins and 11 losses, while FC Bayern Munich is 15th, with 13 wins and 19 losses.
In another significant match on Thursday, Olympiacos Piraeus edged out Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade 74-69 at Stark Arena. This victory propelled Olympiacos into the fourth spot in the standings, boasting 20 wins and 12 losses, whereas Partizan slipped to 13th place with a record of 14 wins and 18 losses.
