Zuckerberg rates Apple Vision Pro, promotes Meta
The tech rivalry heats up as Mark Zuckerberg shares his take on the Apple Vision Pro.

Given Meta's competition with Apple for dominance in the tech market, it's no surprise that Zuckerberg may not be Apple's biggest fan.
In a bold move, Zuckerberg conducts his own assessment of Apple's latest offering, the Apple Vision Pro. Apple aims to blur the boundaries between the real and virtual worlds with a wearable display for augmented reality, allowing users access to multiple screens.
Critics view this as a sign of impending doom, likening it to the dystopian future portrayed in the TV show Black Mirror.
However, Apple arrives late to the party, introducing a product with features similar to those already available in the market.
In a video shared on his Instagram page on February 13, Zuckerberg asserts that a cheaper and 'better product' already exists. Unsurprisingly, he promotes Meta's own offering, the Meta Quest 3, unveiled in June last year.
Given Zuckerberg's ownership of Meta, his bias in favor of his company's product seems evident.
In the video, liked over 150,000 times, he states, "Different companies made different design decisions for the headsets, but overall, Quest is better for the vast majority of mixed reality use cases."
Zuckerberg proceeds to tout Quest 3 as superior for activities like movement, gaming, socializing, and workouts.
While acknowledging some good features of the Apple device, such as a higher resolution screen, Zuckerberg ultimately emphasizes the advantages of Quest 3, including its significantly lower cost, absence of wires, lighter weight, wider field of view, and reportedly brighter screen.
