Mark Zuckerberg, the owner of Meta, which Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram are a part of, reportedly commissioned a complex worth a total of $270 million (7.8 billion TL).

According to a report in the New York Post, the social media mogul Zuckerberg's complex will be able to produce its own food and energy sources and will include an underground bunker. The complex on Hawaii's Kauai island will consist of two central mansions connected by a tunnel leading to a 5,000 square-meter underground bunker, along with more than a dozen buildings.

Additionally, the complex is planned to have 30 bedrooms and 30 bathrooms, and also a group of 11 "disk-shaped" tree houses connected by rope bridges.

The report states that access to the bunker is planned via an escape staircase and will be surrounded by "blast-resistant" concrete and steel mix walls.

A spokesperson for Zuckerberg said he spent $170 million (4.9 billion TL) to purchase the land for the Koolau Ranch complex. This complex, one of the most expensive personal construction projects in modern history, is partially completed.

It was alleged that Zuckerberg made workers sign confidentiality agreements for the complex project, which will be under constant surveillance with over 20 cameras. Among the claims made was that Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos also have properties on the same island.
