Cher advises women to date younger men

Pop icon Cher, known for her relationships with younger men, shared relationship advice for women. The 77-year-old star, in a YouTube interview with Amelia Dimoldenberg on Chicken Shop Date, broadcasted last Friday, suggested women should date younger men at least once in their lives.

The Grammy-winning singer humorously added, "Older men don't like me." Cher, whose dating history includes younger celebrities like Val Kilmer, Tom Cruise, and Rob Camilletti, is currently with music producer Alexander Edwards, known as A. E., demonstrating her own advice in action.

Despite her attraction to the 37-year-old Edwards, Cher admitted to breaking her own rule against dating younger men. She fell for him through the messages he sent, a move she found contrary to her judgment.

The couple first met at a Paris Fashion Week event last year and went public with their relationship in fall 2022, following months of dating after a mutual friend shared Cher's phone number with Edwards.
