Turkish stocks open Tuesday with gains
The BIST 100 index rose by 47.5 points in the opening session.

On Tuesday, Turkey's benchmark stock index started at 7,993.89 points, a 0.60% increase, or 47.52 points higher than the previous close.
The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul concluded Monday at 7,946.37 points, up by 1.18%, and saw a daily trading volume of 85 billion Turkish liras (about $2.95 billion).
The US dollar traded at 28.7600 against the Turkish lira as of 9.56 a.m. local time, the euro at 31.6045 liras, and the British pound at 36.0726 liras.
Brent crude oil was trading at approximately $81.75 per barrel, and gold was priced at $1,992.75 per ounce.
