Turkish stock exchange rises in Thursday's opening
The Turkish benchmark stock index, the BIST 100, opened Thursday's session at 8,862.37 points, marking a 0.22% increase, or 19.36 points, from the previous close.

On Wednesday, the BIST 100 index closed at 8,843.01 points, experiencing a decrease of 0.29%, with the daily trading volume reaching 64 billion Turkish liras ($2.08 billion).
As of 10:00 a.m. local time (GMT+3), the exchange rate for the US dollar to Turkish lira (USD/TRY) was observed at 30.6030, the Euro to Turkish lira (EUR/TRY) exchange rate was at 33.0020, and the British pound to Turkish lira (GBP/TRY) rate stood at 38.6620.
The cost for an ounce of gold was listed at $2,048.55, while Brent crude oil was priced at approximately $79.64 per barrel.
